Apprenticeship is a time-honored tradition of passing on knowledge and skills from one generation to the next, and I feel so fortunate to have had Jeremy as my guide on this journey. They say that when the student is ready the teacher will appear, and that is exactly what happened.Through his patient guidance, deep wisdom, and years of experience, Jeremy has deepened my knowledge not only about astrology but also about intuition, and self-reflection. He has helped me understand the symbolic language of the stars and how it can illuminate our inner and outer worlds.But more than that, Jeremy has been a true friend and supporter, always willing to listen and offer encouragement, even when the path ahead seemed uncertain. His generosity, kindness, and humor have made this apprenticeship an enriching and joyous experience.So today, I want to say thank you, Jeremy, for all that you have given me and for being such an inspiring mentor. Seriously, how many times have you heard only part

Seriously, how many times have you heard only part of this quote, you know, the part about "being a master of none". How convenient for the laser focused, single minded people, bless them. But how about those of us who love to know a lot about a lot of things...or a little bit about a lot of things. How many times have you felt like you wanted to hold back from sharing ALL the cool things you know because at some point in your life you got programmed to feel like if you are too "spread out" in your knowledge base that it diminished your expertise in another area. Nope, not buying into that BS anymore. I LOVE knowing a lot of stuff about a lot of things. I can talk to just about anyone about anything, and even if I don't know a thing about it, I have enough experience and knowledge base that somehow, someway I can tie something into it and engage. I bet part of what made DaVinci (one of my historical heroes) so freakin' brilliant was that he knew a lot of stuff about a lot of things. This empowered him to look at things in unique ways, and we admire him for it. The more you know the more you realize you don't know. I get a little wary when I hear people claim to be the expert on something, and let's be real here, over the last few years it seems like everyone's claiming to be an expert in something. I wonder, do you really know a lot, or do you know so little that you think you know everything. Yep, it's all too common. I love this lyric from the song "Carry On My Wayward Son" by Kansas, "And if I claim to be a wise man, well, It surely means that I don't know." If your coach doesn't have a coach, if your leader isn't transparent and excited about the fact that they don't know everything and are actively learning, may I suggest you rethink that relationship. Let's deconstruct the idea that if you are a "jack of all trades" you don't have mastery. And let's be honest with ourselves about our "level" of mastery and that of our mentors. And, most of all, may we all be life time LEARNERS!!!

Have you ever spoken to someone and you feel like there is absolutely nothing they would rather be doing than being with you.? They are totally present. I felt that deeply when I spoke with Giota Vorgia of Art of Giota Vorgia for the Essence Reveal Podcast. She was completely present. As the interviewer I wanted to make her feel really special, and she ended up making me feel very special. It was deep and meaningful. I like to think I do this for others, and I learned a thing or two or three, or more from Giota. Like the stones she paints, she embodies presence. What an example, how inspiring, how sacred to spend time with her. The Essence Reveal Podcast episode with Giota releases on Wednesday. Anyone who has ever tried to make a lasting change

Anyone who has ever tried to make a lasting change in their life knows that it is not an easy task. Whether it is quitting smoking, losing weight, or breaking a bad habit, change requires a great deal of effort and determination. But what is the best way to motivate oneself to make a change? Fear and shame are often used as motivators, but research has shown that they are not effective in the long term. Fear may lead to short-term compliance, but it does not promote lasting change. Shame may also motivate people to make a change in the short term, but it often leads to feelings of worthlessness and despair, which can sabotage any progress that has been made. On the other hand, love and compassion are much more effective motivators. When we feel loved and supported, we are more likely to see ourselves in a positive light and believe that we are capable of making the changes we desire. Love and compassion also help us to feel connected to others, which can provide the encouragement and motivation we need to keep going when the going gets tough. So if you're looking for a lasting change in your life, start by giving yourself a little love and compassion.
